Advocate Health Care is a faith-based, nonprofit integrated health system serving Illinois and parts of Wisconsin. Formed in 1995 through the merger of two Chicago-area health systems, it has grown significantly, merging with Aurora Health Care in 2018 and Atrium Health in 2022. Advocate Health is now the third-largest nonprofit integrated health system in the United States.
